Scorton

Today I have stayed much closer to home to get my water shot.

This pretty little pond is one which I pass on a regular basis en route to my parents' house in Garstang. It is located on the country roads in Scorton and each time I pass, I think how lovely it is.

Scorton is a small village near the River Wyre. The name is said to mean 'farmstead near a ditch or ravine'.
