A glimpse of Nirvana ...

.... for that is what our shed is called. It was sunny enough to take tea and a hot cross bun outside today. Some very crisp and bright reflections in the pond. I like the way the rejuvenating waterlilies look like goldfish.

Franco is here for a few days. He's been busy chainsawing the huge cedar tree and eucalyptus that fell down in the storm. He's done a great job - stacks of logs and greenery lie everywhere. Tomorrow he's going to do some strimming.

An excellent film last night - The Broken Circle Breakdown. Not as jolly as the trailer suggested for it had omitted the central devastating theme. There was lots of sex, and tattoos and some amazing music but most of all it was a very real story of a love affair split asunder by a terrible event. We really do need a jolly film now though.

I now seem to be getting a cold which I am not impressed with.
