Queen Victoria

I went to Harrogate today and now that I have my blip radar always switched on, I spotted this statue / monument of Queen Victoria. I must have walked past this dozens of times before and never even noticed it.

It now makes sense that the modern building behind is the Victoria Shopping Centre!! (blushes at my ignorance).

The monument is in Victoria Gardens and was built to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 1887.
