View from the train

Some views from the train are beautiful, but some are not! Buildings half- demolished, neglected and empty seem to jog alongside new buildings in an attempt to make use of the land near big railway stations in the midlands. But why don't they finish clearing the disused ugly buildings before starting on new ones?!
Home this evening, having watched my little grandchildren waving goodbye on the station platform at lunchtime. Nice to be home, but I'll miss them!
