The Great Escape ...

I headed south today - well, southish, to Ipswich .. I'm rehearsing and concerting at the weekend and for once will also have a totally free day as well!

I'm staying with friends and after the last couple of days am delighted to get away for a bit of a break ..

En route I dropped into a local nature reserve and saw a couple of water rails and this cormorant .. it's probably the closest I've been to a cormorant ..
