The More Things Change..

.. the more they remain the same.

Actually the proverb is slightly different stating the more things change, the more they stay the same. French in origin, it was used by the French novelist Alphonse Karr (1808-90), and also appears in George Bernard Shaw's 'Revolutionist's Handbook' (1903). It's funny how it still rings true even today.

What is real though, is that the status quo won't work, and more of the same will give us the same as we always got. It's Friday relax and enjoy the week-end.

Painting is by Mark Rothko and a favourite.
