Kirkjufell and Dolly

I was awake before sunrise, so I went out and got some pics before breakfast! It had been snowing overnight and we encountered lots more snow on a few mountain routes! I was extremely glad of the four wheel drive and spiked tyres on the car! We visited a lava field and a stunning beach made up from all the volcanic rock! We pottered about lots of wee towns and stopped a few places for a look! Dinner at the hotel, then I read my book in the hot tub for a while! Clear skies now, so the hotel have been told to wake us should the northern lights appear, I hope they do!
