Dolly at Gullfoss

We did a lot of driving today! First we visited þingvellir national park, home of Iceland's historic parliament! Then we visited Geysir, to see the geysir Strokkur erupt, it was impressive, we watched go off about six times! The big one sadly doesn't erupt anymore! We then went to Gullfoss waterfall, absolutely stunning, but so cold! After that we headed south and visited a volcanic crater, Kerið! We then headed for Grindavík, had a rest and then headed to the bridge over two continents! It goes between a rift and joins the American tectonic plate to the European one! After that we just headed back to the hotel! The best part, after I blipped last night, the reception called to say the northern lights could be seen! We went out to see them and Lewis got some amazing photos, it was fantastic! Really hope to see them again tonight!
