Off to Paris

Started early when Claire dropped me in Peebles. From there a bus to Edinburgh, another to the airport, a plane to Paris, a bus through rush hour traffic and the metro to Tour de Maubourg.

I found apartment on AirBnB, and although it's fine (and the location is great) it's pretty scabby.

My colleague, Rob, had already arrived and after doing a little bit of prep for tomorrow we headed off for food & drink. A bottle of Pelforth Brune to start the evening and a Poire William to end it.

This course may not be a huge success, but at least I'll be able to play the gourmand.
