Mutefish

Today Frozen was released on DVD and Bluray!
There was a hectic start to my day as I had to arrive in work earlier than planned when the SM called in sick. We had 6 pallets of delivery to bring in, a potential move in Baby and we were opening an hour earlier for the release! I had to call Eric to get him to come in earlier to help me out, we didn't have to do the Baby move as there is a NS on Sunday to action this, but we cleared Stage of delivery and processed later and he helped me organise the opening bits.

We would have been fine if the bin book codes for the Frozen pre purchase collection were working, but alas, they would not scan. We had the first hour of people coming to collect with nothing to scan and saving up the vendor coupons to put through later once the codes were working. We had both Rescue Rangers and Store Ops working on fixing the problem and at about half 9 they were finally scanning through.

I then had interviews to run by myself (the first time I have done any alone) and I had 8 people in the group interview which I think went quite well and I would say there is at least one person we should hire.

Lastly, after lunch, I had 2 hours of stage managing with a constant queue full of Frozen collections, talk ups and AGS were poor but conversion was over 30%! For my last half hour Ciara and I bagged up some more DVDs and books for collections on Saturday so we had enough.

Once I finished work and left the Store I stood outside for a while to listen to a band called Mutefish who play 'progressive Techno folk' music with an upbeat vibe, definitely music to dance and jig to. They were brilliant and had such a huge crowd around them. I only caught the last piece of their set before they packed up but I took a snap of them to remember to look them up online and see if I can find any of their tracks to listen to again.

I went food shopping at M&S for mine and Ciara's super slob PJ day tomorrow and bought stuff for yuk sung and baked Camembert with french bread along with cookies and treats.

After shopping Ali text me and said did I want to meet her in the pub so I headed to P Macs for a drink of Kopparberg and a chat with my stinky cheese! We had to leave after a while as the table was reserved so we went to Harrys instead and had another drink with some chips and cocktail sausages. We snap chatted Terri a photo as she is the queen of cocktail sausages!

I met Luke at Next after an alarm call out and Mexican Dave drove us both home.
We had a cup of tea and watched some TV before I headed up to bed to read Disney War.
