For Oystercatchers
You have seen this particular piece of boggy field several times as it has played host to curlews, lapwings and sheep.
The sheep have more or less cleaned up the brassica crop that was there and have left it looking something akin to the Somme.
Anyway it was the turn of oyster catchers today to make the most of the dwindling assets.
Once the ground dries out a bit more it will not be long before it gets ploughed up.
I hope the farmer then plants a crop from which my bees can gain some benefit!
