Possibly new tenants!!

I noticed a tit heading towards the nesting box this morning and quickly tuned in to the channel for the display from the camera in the box. This rather blurry blip is a photograph of our TV.

The tit had obviously started building a nest in the last couple of days, as I checked out the display on Tuesday and the box was empty.

It’s hard to tell what kind of tit is, as it is a black & white image from the camera, but the white splodge on the back of his head would indicate it is a coal tit. We have blue tits, great tits and coal tits in and out of the garden constantly!!

If this pair eventually settle in to the box, we will be able to check them out as they approach the box, to see which type of tit they are.

We spent the morning preparing the space behind the garage ready for the chap who is going to rebuild the wind damaged wall starting on Monday. All the racking and “stuff” is now parked on the patio, a bit of a mess, but it will have to do as there is nowhere else to park it!!
