Swings!
I ended up going in to wake Eva up at around 8.15 this morning, as she was still fast asleep and we were leaving for Rhythm Time in an hour. She didn't really want much milk before we left, but did have some oat and apple. :-)
Rhythm Time was fantastic as always. They got the big, stretchy, blue fabric out again and we were bouncing little fishies up and down on it. Eva was trying to catch the fishies and sit underneath the fabric as we wafted it up and down, she's so funny. Afterwards, Jenny and I took our Evas over to the swings in the park. Eva absolutely loved it and was so excited. As she was swinging forward, Jenny was leaning in giving her 'high 5's' and Eva was smiling and giggling away (today's pic) It's so fantastic to see her enjoying herself.
We had some toast when we got back and then played with Eva's toys and she had a go in her jumperoo (which she hadn't been in for ages) until it was time for her sleep. She had some milk and was so shattered, she ended up sleeping from about 12.15 til nearly 3pm! She barely gets an hour at nursery during the day most days, but she sure makes up for it when she's home. You'd think she wouldn't sleep well at night sleeping that much in the day, but she does.
She had her dinner when she woke (beef stew) and then my dad came round for a couple of hours. Eva did some drawing with her crayons and her grandad also drew her some pictures in her pad and read her new peekaboo book with her. Eva looked like she was going to stand up a few times, she didn't, but looked like she was nearly there.
