Eva stood up!! :-) xxxx

I dressed Eva in her new little outfit this morning. I showed her the lion on the tshirt and the giraffe on the cardigan before I put them on her, and all day on and off she's been pulling the tshirt out to look at it and pointing to the lion as if to say "look, Mom!" So so cute.

Eva and I had a lovely, relaxing couple of hours then set off for Tickety Boo just after 10.30am. We were meeting Jenny and Eva there and Lisa was also coming with James today. Our first stop was, as usual, the bouncy castle. I sat Eva on the edge and bounced her up and down higher and higher. She then went crawling through the soft play tunnel, she sat on the little ride on and I pushed her round and round the room, she slid down the little slide with me holding her hands, and then something very exciting happened. We went and sat over by Lisa and James and Jenny and Eva also came over and we were chatting, sat on the gym mats at the edge of the soft play ball pit type thing (except there's no balls in it), Eva was kneeling up and holding onto the side of the 'ballpit'. I joked saying "she'll stand up in a minute", when all of a sudden, she did!!! I could not believe my eyes, she did it so easily, as if she's secretly been standing up for weeks. I grabbed my phone to film her doing it, to show Daddy, but she'd sat back down and wouldn't do it again lol. I was so excited! As if the first time she crawled properly was at stay and play and the first time she pulled herself up was at Tickety Boo. :-)

I did take some photos at Tickety Boo, but they were all blurred, so today's pic (which is also blurred, but not as much) is of Eva drawing this afternoon after her sleep, with a pencil in one hand and a crayon in the other :-) she still keeps biting the ends off the crayons, mind. Xxx
