Sleep Over

Colby's 10th birthday party is tomorrow, but tonight, he will party and laugh with Codi. Friend sleep-overs are rare in our house, simply because of the lack of space in our house and the fact that an extra body running around makes a big difference.

Tonight, the boys have played basketball - outside! - and then promptly came in to play the Xbox. Jumping and running playing "Wipeout". It's amazing to me the energy that 10 and 12 years olds have... it's endless.

Todays weather was absolutely beautiful, we had temps in the high 40's and with the warmth of the sun, the lack of warm weather for months... it felt like a 70* day to many of us in Maine. I found multiple people out and about today without coats on, and one lady I saw in JC Penny was wearing flip flops. Crazy how in October a 48* day is downright frigid, and in March the same temps feel like a heat wave. Regardless, I'll take what we can get. They are predicting snow/sleet tomorrow... the winter that never ends!
