It's a Party!

The weather kept us from enjoying an afternoon of sledding, but it hasn't stopped them all from laughing, running, joking, and having a good time. I think it's ironic really, for once, Colby was going to have an outdoor party - one that involved snow, since we are having the winter that never ends. Seems as though Mother Nature felt it necessary to give him the same birthday gift as years past... rain!

Regardless of the weather, I think they all had a great afternoon. Lots of smiles, giggles and I heard the word "dude" more than I could count. As I sit back and enjoy the normalcy of our now quiet house, I find my mind wandering to the future, and that in a few years, these very same boys will be young men and hopefully will remain close friends.

Until then, I will enjoy these moments of chaos.
