Siem Reap

Got up and left Phnom Phen on a really nice minivan towards Siem Reap. We do not really like city's and we had done everything we wanted to do so it was time to move on. The transport was amazing and absolutely no hassle as we opted for a better company which was $2 more expensive.

We arrived at our guesthouse (Hak's) after getting harassed from Tuk Tuk drivers. This place is really nice and has breakfast included ($12). It was getting late so we had a quick shower and headed out a walk to see the local area. This place is extremely touristy and everything has been set up to make there holiday seem authentic. The main reason everyone comes here is to see Angkor Wat, a famous temple complex.

Halfway through the walk it was decided alison should get a pedicure and manicure for $7. I didn't want to just sit there and wait so I got a foot scrub. It looked so camp me sitting getting this done while everyone walked past judging me.lol. I must admit though my feet feel a 100 times better and Alison's nails looked great. We had a quick bite at a local food stand and headed back to the hotel. We were just getting ready for bed when the electricity went out. It's going to be a long sweaty sleep as obviously the a/c isn't working.
