Kirstine and cake..

This afternoon, the family gathered for a Sunday brunch and to, belatedly, celebrate Kirstine's 39th birthday as well as Mother's Day.

This is Kirstine, with the cake her sister Rosslyn had made for her in the shape of the Tardis. Kirstine has always been a great fan of Dr Who.

I hope all the Mums out there are having a great day. I am thinking of my own Mum who passed away a good number of years ago, but who is often in my thoughts.
