Oops wrong gear !

I spotted this little chap trying to "ride the waves" at Polzeath beach this afternoon.

We have had an easy day today.

Went to Pentireglaze 1st thing for a little walk around the coastal path, then drove down to New Polzeath where we people watched for an hour or 2. From there we went to Polzeath where we parked on the beach..I went for a nose around at the waters edge & C went to the shops for half an hour.

Met a chap metal detecting - reckoned that he did ok out of loose change falling from folks' pockets. Should have brought mine with me. His best finds were a Rolex watch which he dug up on a beach in Cornwall & 15 silver Roman coins that he found in a field in Kent.

Lovely warm hazy day.

Came back to the pad early for cheese rolls & a relaxing beer or 2.

This really is the life.....oh & Happy Mother's Day to all Mums everywhere.
