Shaftesbury

On our way home from Northamptonshire after navigating the M1 , M25 and M3 we stopped off for a late lunch at Shaftesbury - there's an excellent cafe at the top of Gold Hill.
The lemon cake went down well for Mother's Day tea and Paul has now gone to drive down to Poole to collect Stan from his Mum's.I was really touched to receive a 'Step- Mum' card from him ( it actually said that on it ).
Now feeling a bit tired but off to prepare some Numeracy for tomorrow!!
