It started off well, breakfast and gifts in bed and lots of cuddles from my small ones. I then ate said breakfast and caught up on GB Sewing Bee. And then it all started to go downhill when I got up as there was so much we wanted to get done and Amelie wasn't listening and was just getting upset over little things... Really we should have abandoned plans and headed out for a walk. But we muddled through and got loads done (albeit in my PJs!) I then burnt the dinner...but it still tasted ok!

This evening has been really nice though. Isaac has done loads of walking and even generally very funny! We also skyped Granny and Papa. And Amelie was back to normal herself, helping me make pancakes for pudding and having a long and fun bathtime. I had a long and lovely sleeping snuggle with Isaac whilst enjoying a glass of wine and then Amelie fell asleep cuddling in too.

It may not have been a perfect day but I am so lucky to have my babies here to spend it with me <3
