Meet the Morgans

How grown up she looks!

She's had a difficult day, for the most part. Getting dressed is difficult...tripping over a stool you left lying is difficult especially when Mummy wasn't at fault but you want her to be...having wet socks is difficult...

So I cancelled my plan to get the bus into Hitchin to pick up some toiletries for the holidays. It just wasn't a good idea. But I knew we needed out so we walked the 30 minute walk to nursery to hand in her registration forms and file. We then walked a little bit further into Upper Stondon to find the park. It's only taken 2 weeks but we have finally found it! Both Amelie and Isaac had a play and then we carried on our walk up past some fields.

On the way back we popped into a plant nursery to look around. We chose an Azalea in a lovely coral colour and Amelie picked a tiny baby Begonia. Unfortunately our walk home didn't end too well as Amelie fell over and skinned her knees. Not badly at all but it really upset her and she howled all the way home. Isaac fell asleep on my back with his head lolling as I couldn't get the hood over him the angle he was at!

He slept for a bit at home and we had lunch. After he's had lunch too we made a birthday card for Rose which ended up taking up most of the afternoon! And Amelie's princess anna doll (chosen with some birthday money) arrived so she played really nicely until tea time.

Chris has finished putting up the little book shelf (spice racks!)in their room now and I've finished another of my letter tshirts, this one for Rose as it's her birthday today!

I really want to sleep now but I need to write a list...
