Dusty's Dessert

This was the screen shot I took whilst I Skyped home after work. I had a nice chat and catch up with mum and Jen and wished mum happy mother's day. Dusty was sitting with Jen and over she came and started to lick Jenny's Magnum ice cream! It's clear she has sophisticated taste!
You can just see at the bottom of the photo mum's bear, Baby Ted, who is sporting his new sailor outfit that I got mum for mother's day. He definitely liked it as he kept saluting and climbing the rigging while we were catting!
We talked about holidays and how plans may change to what we originally thought of doing which was Sicily for the 5 of us as Diane and Jon also want to come and mum thinks it will be too expensive especially with the transport costs from the airport. Instead she wondered about Spain or Malta, but Jen and I have convinced her that we should stick to Italy and suggested Rome or Naples, both of which are coastal cities so we have the beach and convenient public transport as we are near to the hubbub. Fingers crossed we can manage to keep costs down for all 7 of us.
Today at work felt extra long, even for a Sunday, as we had to spend the first hour doing stage recovery as the closedown was poor. And after that we still had all the usual figures to sort out later in the day, another 8-7 shift!
Anyway, when I came home Luke made us scrummy cottage pie and I have leftovers for my lunch tomorrow. We watched some of Hitman while we ate and then it was off to bed for me as up early tomorrow.
Today I am grateful for my wonderful mummy.
