Sarah's 2014

Liberty Print

I spotted this super sweet Liberty fabric on my way home from work. It reminded me of Southwold with the beach huts and lighthouse. I wondered about buying some and making a cushion cover or some bunting or something nice and homey.

Work started early and I was in for just after 6:30 ready to take in a delivery at 7am, but the driver didn't rock up until 7:35. This left us very little time to process all the Frozen stock that was desperately needed on stage ready for open at 9am.
We received 44 Elsa costumes, most of which were put on hold within the first hour. We sold out of 5-6 and 7-8 by 11am and had a couple of Guest issues with wrong sizes or none being put on hold correctly throughout the day. We had a huge impact on our LY sales due purely to Frozen stock.

The day was pretty fun and although it was seriously annoying whenever the phone rang since we knew it was a Frozen Guest, but for once it was pretty funny to be able to say that we did have the Elsa dress in stock!

After work Ali and I popped into Ted Baker to see a beautiful leather handbag she had seen, then we went to McDonalds for cheesemas and Ali had chicken nuggets with hers for a change. After that we wandered to Dunnes so she could get ingredients for jelly making overnight.

I came home and had to call the bank a couple of times before Luke and I looked at holiday options in Italy for us all in September. Jen had sent me a few links so we checked those out first and then looked at a few others in Naples and Rome areas.

I went to bed around 8pm with a hot water bottle and didn't eat any tea as I wasn't hungry. I read Disney war for a bit before going to sleep.

Today I am grateful for an early night's sleep.
