An ordinary life....

A Rose by any other name...'

I was determined not to do a flower macro today but deary me, you still end up with a rose! ;-)

I was out of the house bright and early this morning as I had a meeting with Sandra, the lady who's organising the charity calendar with my photos. I have now delivered the folder of photos (of which there are 46, only two of which I am happy with. Hey ho) and over the next two weeks local community groups will vote for their top 13 and those ones will make up the calendar. I'm glad we're off on holiday for a week so I can put it out of my mind and stop stressing about it.

I've also ordered the canvases Marion and her daughter want from the photos I took of her grandson. Honestly I am so nervous about seeing them. I really hope they turn out ok.

I've decided I'm really not cut out for taking photos of people. Well not people who ask me to and have high expectations of the results. I'm much happier sticking my macro lens up the chuff of a tulip to be honest.

My favourite and only nephew Andrew coming for tea tonight as he's helping David put the roof box on the car. which reminds me I'm supposed to be packing but I've still not done the ironing yet!

I'm really looking forward to our week in Kent mainly because I'll have new things to photograph. I'm hoping a change of scene will do my blip mojo the power of good.

Happy Monday my lovelies :) xx

PS Thank you so much for your comments on my boy yesterday. I will get round to replying :-)) x
