Holidays - Day 1

First day off for the spring break. Don't know why Fife is weeks ahead of everywhere else but it's nice to be not working. Spent the day pottering around the house and the garage, tidying and making little parcels of wood shavings and little sticks to use for starting fires. And then Mandy mentioned that the tree that had fallen over was a cherry tree so that had to be cut up and played with. For a dead tree that had just fallen over it's in good shape and the grain's lovely. There's plenty of it although it's mainly sticks. Spurtles maybe?
