Mothering Sunday

Our little apartment was a hive of activity today. Laura stayed over and we had a morning of Forrest Gump and baking (although the cake was a disaster- burnt to a cinder on accidentally heating the oven to 300C +).

Mum and Si came over for the afternoon and we enjoyed my special carbonara with a twist. We also discovered that mum has the ability scare off neighbourhood miscreants (she spotted a boy graffiting and gave him an "Oi" and a look, causing him to sprint off!).

In the evening my parents-in-law came over bringing the doggies, beautifully wrapped presents, flowers and cheese and biscuits.
