Isn't this a great statue of a horse?

Actually statue seems the wrong word for it because if ever the motion of a horse has been captured - this has to be it. He really is in a hurry, heading towards one of the brightly coloured houses of Aberaeron.

David Mayer was the sculptor and the Welsh Cob Stallion was donated to Aberaeron town by the Aberaeron Festival of Welsh Ponies & Cobs to celebrate the area as Welsh Cob country.
