Kids' Parade--Troyes
We took an outing to Troyes from St. Dizier, chauffeured by our friend Roger, before taking the train back to Paris, at the end of the afternoon.
This was a very small portion of at least 80-100 kids in costumes lining up in the main square of the city, before marching off around a corner. We didn't follow them and I didn't ask what it was for--but it was lively, and very colorful.
It's now late, after watching the final episode of a French TV documentary on World War I--so coincidentally appropriate after our visit to Verdun yesterday. I'll add more on our trip to that area tomorrow.
