Yellow stars

I like the yellow flowers of forsythia although these are nearly past their best.

Didnt sleep very well last night as I had finally made my decision with P to go full time for a year next year and then retire. My job share partner is leaving and I didnt have the energy to build such a partnership again. I wll need to do some supply if available from time to time but I have lots of things I want to pursue and life is after all so short but it is scary nevertheless!! Anyway before that- one year to give the job my all and enjoy all those topics and all the interesting bits plus most important of all ' my class' for the last time. It's all the observations, performance management and almost continuous changes of the curriculum which I have undertaken in 30 years of teaching, which I will have no problems in leaving behind.
