Serendipity

It was my uncle Roger's funeral today. We took to the reception some of his paintings.
Geoff (right, an old friend of Roger's) got very excited when he saw this painting beause he remembered that Roger had painted his children when they were young. He had not seen the painting for many long years and assumed it had been lost.
Shaun (left) had heard about the painting but never seen it. That's Shaun on the right in the painting as a small boy .
As the executor of my uncle's estate I made the first distribution and presented Geoff and Shaun with the painting to keep.
