Morning refreshment

If you noted my Blipfoto from yesterday, then you will know that I was cajoled into a window cleaning exercise under the threat of outside intervention.
I thought the money saved would allow for a reward at the Donut shop during our morning shopping foray. I made the mistake of allowing my wife to order coffee and donuts while I attended to another matter. Imagine my disappointment when sighting the Donut bag to make the discovery of only one item. Was this some sort of punishment for past transgressions?

I understood that Donuts was a plural form of the word. I guess then, that "small mercies" should be gratefully received!!!
