Last throes of summer

In Sydney this year we have had an extended summer time and now in the second month of autumn, it seems that some of our flowering shrubs have been fooled into a new burst of activity.
This Franjipani continues to bloom despite the fact that by now its leaves should be falling.

Maybe there is some substance in the climate change argument. Who really knows!!!
