Sahara Dust
Our two Arabians have got used to sandy conditions on the fields this year, so a bit of dust won't worry them.
Took Asyr with us for the morning walk to allow him to find some grass. Even Luna sat patiently knowing he was enjoying it. Flash as always was on guard just in case a bear turned up or Asyr made a break for freedom.
Fields are generally suffering around here. Farmer Franz returned the generator and said the slurry hadn't been washed in to the soil properly and now especially the dandelions with their broad leaves were scorching. It is noticeable that the fields which were treated first are growing better than the later ones which includes our horse fields which are looking like golfing greens. I have been over two of them with verticulator blades the last days in the hope of knocking off some of the muck. Forecast says we might get some showers at the weekend - here's hoping.
Apart from the weather an unspectacular day.
