The circus comes to town

I love the circus. We never went when I was little, but I loved the idea of it and now I love being able to go whenever it comes to town.

This shot shows the circus as we saw it today, setting up, in a field, in the London cloud and smog; hard graft, and definitely no glamour. But soon the lights will be switched on, the colours will gleam, the audience will arrive and somehow they'll conjure up the magic of another opening of another show.

We're going on Saturday, I might blip another, lighter, Zippo Blip then.

Zippo. Lighter. See what I did there?
