Mixed up and muddled...

This was the view from a car park this morning.

It's not the greatest view in the world, but, the more I looked at it, the more I admired its complexity.

Residential is mixed with business. Old with new. Brick and concrete, chimneys and air conditioning units.

It's a bit messy, but somehow it all fits together and somehow it all works, maybe not very efficiently, but it works.....

....and it has it's own special beauty, in the contrasting colours and the jumble of lines and angles. Unless you're familiar with it, maybe you wouldn't want to get much closer, or have to live or work there for any length of time, but it's ok from a distance or for brief moments.

It's a bit like real life.......
