car picnic on a dreary day

A horrible rainy day, so Hatty and I made a picnic and drove to Bordeaux and ate our lunch in the car. I much prefer cycling ........
This afternoon we made a chocolate cheese cake and roast beef, potatoes and veg.
One more week of holiday for Hatty and she has nearly finished writing her big essay on chronic disease.
