Today was an off-site strategy meeting for work (never been to one of those before) and I was expecting to see some of the office jargon quoted in the Metro of yesterday:

Blue-sky thinking
Idea shower
To 'action' a project
Going forward
Brainstorm
Getting the ball rolling
Drill down
Out of the loop
Thinking outside the box
Touch base
Singing from the same hymn-sheet
Circle back
Strategic fit
Bottom line
Low hanging fruit

But do you know what? None of the above cropped up! Mind you, I was tempted to include a few of them myself, but thought it might not be appreciated.

On the plus side, the food was very nice, my cold is much better and I was greeted by Barney as I came home.
