is what greeted the day - today

the forecast had called for a smattering of snow - whatever that means - i really didn't expect the land to be covered - by a thick white layer of it - all over - april is supposed to bring spring showers - rain showers - but in the rockies - we are prone to getting all sorts of weather - yesterday i was wearing my trusty flip flops - no jacket - today, bring out the boots again - sheesh - the good news is this brings much needed moisture to the ground - in the high country - it provides necessary spring run off and water - all things we are duly grateful for - i am not complaining - there could be much worse things - this is not one of them - by any means - for certain - it has made for...
