yesterday and today

snow and sun

whereas yesterday you could barely see your hand in front of your face - there was so much snow coming down - today the sun came out - melting huge chunks of snow off the trees - so virtually all of it is gone - allowing critters to come out - and enjoy the day - evidence is this little finch - balancing on the tree branch - only hours ago - heavily covered with snow - now you'd never guess - and so it goes - the rhythm of nature - of life - things come - things go - we learn to deal with the ebb and flow - the ups and downs - it is what makes us grow - learn - become strong - the things of life which bring us joy - sadness - yet richness and depth of meaning - you can tell i am ready for that bursting of spring with all this reflection- the beginning of the season anew - bring it on already - and make it...
