Perhaps from Albany, a town in the south west of the state with a whaling history to as recently as 1978.

Quite beautiful as a piece of intricate work but a sad reminder of the tens and hundreds of thousands of magnificent mammals slaughtered over centuries...and a hopeful future with the recent decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague announcing their' binding decision today in the landmark case of Australia v. Japan, ruling that Japan’s JARPA II whaling program in the Antarctic is not for scientific purposes and ordering that all permits given under JARPA II be revoked.'
