dark day
day 24. i'm still waiting for that promised blip addiction to arrive. its been something of a struggle so far and it begs the question how long you should give a social network before giving up on it. like anything social i guess. nearly gave up today. mind you, it wasn't a good day. i blame the man on the radio. lord turner said it was fine to build a new runway at heathrow because emissions (will be) limited in the future because of some miracle technology and cuts in other areas (a presumed 90% cut in emissions in other industries and homes - like that is gonna happen) and using biofuels (which have a great track record). essentially he said "everybody live a crap life because the aviation industry is required so we can get to our second homes in the caribbean" and "don't worry about flying, just make sure you walked to the airport". nonsense like this reminds me of the whole blue fin tuna fishing quota business.
when our governments and their advisors - supposedly intelligent people - think like this, one way or the other, we're all stuffed and so just what is the point?
