Male Eiders

The male Eiders in Stinky Bay today were very full of themselves in their summer finery. The Mrs Eiders were looking quite impressed. Their "song" is a slightly ghostly cooing that travels a long way but never seems very loud.
Tidying the house up this afternoon and then tonight to the Screen Machine - a travelling cinema that resides in the back of an articulated lorry and tours the Highlands and Islands bringing popcorn and cinema culture to the inhabitiants. Tonight it is The Mounments Men.
