Superstar sleeper

Audrey's back to being a superstar sleeper. 13 hours a night for the past week or so. So you'd think I'd be feeling really refreshed wouldn't you? Nope. I keep staying up until midnight and last night Angus and I had a bottle of wine. So fresh....I was not today!

I had a presentation to write today. It would normally take 2 hours. It took six. I just couldn't focus! Got there in the end. Not my finest work but it'll do.

Had some upsetting news earlier about a friend's business being burgled, as well as a neighbour's house. Chorlton is experiencing a bit of a crime wave at the moment. It makes me really angry (and a bit sad). The neighbours were the ones whose party we went to on Wednesday. They had raised some money from the party for a Manchester hospital ward and that night (while they were cleaning up), someone walked in the back door and took it. Who would do such a thing?

Audrey had a great day at nursery and didn't want to leave tonight. That was a first!

We've got a new babysitter starting this evening so we're off out locally for a bite to eat. Staying close incase she needs though. Will miss our last babysitter, Graciela but this girl Ana (also Spanish) seems lovely too and am sure in time, we will build a similar relationship.
