The Tennyson wall

Louth is very proud of its association with Alfred Lord Tennyson . He attended the Louth Grammar school from 1816 -1820 and looked out from the school onto this 'old wall covered with wild weeds opposite the school window.' Hence the blue plaque. At least it provide a bit of colour on an otherwise dreary misty day.
