The Flying Scotsman ( not the Steam Engine)

We drove up to the top of Holme Moss to see if the sun was shining in Yorkshire - it was in places but not enough to encourage a longer trip.

We settled down watching a listening for birds - not many about but could hear Golden Plover and Red Grouse ( who did show themselves ).

Suddenly all the action was behind us and vintage cars started to appear.

They were part of the Endurance Rally Association event Flying Scotsman a three day event from Forest in Arden today to Gleneagles on Sunday.

I'll be putting more of the cars on my Flickr later. They were great to see the oldest was built in 1912 and there were some superb Bentleys. My. favourite was #1 a Fraser Nash BMW
