Holiday Candy

In my house growing up, the holiday season in candy form wasn't a candy cane or a batch of gingerbread - it was a platter of peanut butter balls. Delicious crumbly balls of peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar, dipped in chocolate. E and I made a batch today while A was busy playing with a friend, and the whole family enjoyed them as a festive dessert this evening. As Ben carried the plates to the table, I said, "Hold on a sec! I'm going to blip you!" He grinned and made a wry comment about the things one does for love . . . It's true. Love, and candy.
