Forest graveyard

The Confucius family graveyard.

Only members of the Kong family are buried here, but over 2,500 years this constitutes quite a lotta people over an immense area of forest.

It a wonderful place of dappled shade and cloudy purple honesty blossom at this time of year - and it completely mutes even the crowds of Chinese tourists that are here.
