City Slicker

I ventured out today to go into town and collect our train tickets for our trip next week. Once that was accomplished, I went to see what was about along the river. Plenty of wagtails - pied and grey, splashing and chasing. I was treated to a couple of fly-bys by the kingfisher, before I was granted a photo opportunity. It's very satisfying to see a kingfisher so close to the city centre. They ignore the hustle and bustle, and in turn most of those going about their business are blissfully unaware of the fishing expeditions taking place almost beneath their noses.
