The Fire Man

I (Annie) have spent a wonderful day in Switzerland with friends. I got up late (well, late according to the time difference at least), and sat with cups of tea and chatted all morning. So great to catch up, because these are both friends I really miss now that they've moved from England.

In the afternoon we all wandered up the road to their village's 600th anniversary celebrations. There were many medieval stalls, and we bought a couple of fun things between us. In the evening we popped back to see the fire show. All great fun, and unusual for this usually sleepy village.

With Immy away in Germany too, for me (Chris) a day with Rosie. We both got up late but early enough to be ready when Rosie's schoolfriend came around. They had a morning of Guitar Hero on the PS3 followed after lunch by a viewing of Disney's Frozen (Rosie is obsessed with this film). This evening Rosie and I have been updating her music library on iTunes and her iPod whilst she practised songs on the piano (from Frozen, obviously).
